I don't know how to report it to Mturk other than telling them in the Yes box that it wasn't the image they presented me but farther NE. I don't think I gave them the correct decimal coordinates yesterday though. My husband figured out the 38.827146,-119.429319 for me last night.
How do I bring this to their attention? They must have thousands to go through. I did email pictures and coordinates to deepflight.com.

I enhanced image in Adobe Photoshop. I tried all sorts of color variations. It looks like terrain/geographical I could be wrong though.

"Ryan described the plane as a Bellanca Citabria Super Decathalon, blue and white with orange stripes and blue sunburst designs on the wings..." ... from an article here http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,5143,695207159,00.html

Thank you for the information. Does anyone have a link to a good photo of his plane? Has anyone reported the coordinates to amturk or other?

Re: the above image. I'm not seeing what you're seeing there.
Here is some info from my Dad who is a private pilot re: this situation...
"The plane burns about 9 gals per hour and carries a total of 36 gallons. The typical cruise speed would be about 130 MPH so that gives you a radius of 620 miles around the airport! The mission for his flight was to go check out places for a possible land speed record attempt so he would be flying toward large flat areas. I don't know if he was trying to go towards Bonneville salt flats or what."
