Well looks liek the color is about1m color is better though and it looks only to be off 110 feet instead of half a mile
Just remeber to see if you have the overlay look in the places temp folder. if you uncheck GeoEye-ikronos you will see the overlay disappear you can start at the flying M ranch.

This is a distinct spot in otherwise homogeneous area. No direct link to plane, but huge contrast differences.

Welcome to Google Earth Community Alejandro !
If you download the up to date satellite images from Amazon Mechanical Turk you'll see that they search him elsewhere. But who knows ...

This was posted already before. Yes, it is a plane and it seems to be flying, as you can see the trees below and the great contrast.
Does anyone know more about this one?

Yes, this looks really like a plane, though the color doesn't stand out very much. Do you think there is a landing path in the direction of the tail?

is this fume, flare, arteffect? And to the right and down a bit -- there is something similar but circular.
Anyone, ideas?

This looks like 50% flare over the water surface, but has the shape of a plane.

Hi,
I found a bluish looking "T" shape that looks like a plane smashed into the side of a hill with it's nose into a tree. Problem is I tried to save it and Google Earth crashed like it usually does. Now I can't find it to save my life. It is in the furthest lower right hand (south east) corner of the new satellite images released of the search area. It was within about a 10 square mile within the lowest southeast corner of the area. North of Mono Lake and northwest of Aurora Nevada. It's on the side of a hill, not a big mountain.. a greenish looking area with some sparse trees and a dirt road on the other side. It's maybe 25-50 feet from the top of the ridge. The area I noticed was a bluish white "T" with it's "nose" up against a tree. It measured 24' wide and 15' long.
If I can find it again, I'll write down the position and post it.. but I'm having a heck of a time here. GRRR
