I went hiking/camping out there over Memorial Day weekend 2007. This area was an old munitions plant, and these "things" were built as concrete "barrell vault" bunkers that were covered with soil. Someone has bought the property, and is removing the dirt from the tops of the bunkers and leasing the space as storage units. We stopped and had lunch inside one of the bunkers...lots of barn swallows flying in and out! Post Extras
