In 2000, Canada's National Search and Rescue Secretariat presented me with the SAR Achievement Award, a simple Google search of my name produced the following link to their site:
I have also given presentations to SAR conferences Canada- SARSCENE 1999, 2000 and in Iceland in Ice-SAR 2000 which are all referencable on the web.
If you want I can try and find a picture I took on my first air sar mission where one day (Dec 77) I spent 13 hours in a Canadian Forces DC-3 searching over Northern Manitoba.
