Besides the wealth of historical information, I couldn't help noticing the painting of the Senior Princes. It has the very odd appearance of a cut-paper collage, in that many of the heads look disembodied and also unrelated in size or perspective to their neighbors. Very good example of how highly stylized "official" art can resemble folk art! This doesn't precisely illustrate my point, but as close as I could find.
