I haven't seen any information coming forth either to answer that question. If Ron's flightpath took him near the region, here's something else that might be pertinent. I took a look at a Vancouver VNC (VFR navigation chart), and noticed the following warning near Boston Bar (North Bend) :

"CAUTION - Route subject to rapid WX change. Altitude should permit course reversal. Min. 5500 ASL recommended between Hope and Lytton."

Not exactly ideal flying conditions...........at any time.

And to Ken and Greg...........I understand and will never try to rush you for answers unless SAR. I just thought I read ssomething about a radio contact and it was not in the report, so I figured something/or some information came along to chage it.
