The pilot's last known stop was in Revelstoke for refueling at about
3 p.m. on Oct. 23. He intended to stop again at Salmon Arm, but never landed. He would have faced heavy winds that day.
I thought he left at approx. 2:00pm..?????????
Boychuk's sons said their father was an experienced pilot and survivalist. He had made the same trip two or three times for each of the past four years, had logged 250 hours of flight time and was a capable outdoors man who had stocked the plane with camping supplies.
He was last heard from on radio near Lytton and Lillooet.
