Re: hungarian language - off topic

Hi syzygy !

Quote:

one is sure. hungarians wanted to know all sections of the big spaceship we call Earth at least they searched the bridge...

it seems Hungarians searched all parts of the spaceship!!!

I went to your Link and found many of the words discussed have a Old Persian(and Sanskrit) link as well, I am not surprised.

It must be on account of the grammatical basis or something similar, like pronounciations, that Hungarian is listed as of the Finno-Ugrian language family.............but the words you sampled are related to Old Persian(OP):
witch........bosorka ...............OP: bozorg , but meaning wise (!!!) hahaha.
mace..........buzogany ............OP: zurg meaning mace.
mansion/chateau .......kastely........OP: killa/kille meaning castle.

Moreover any number of authoritive sources will tell you that scythians are cousins to the ancient Iranians see history-world.org.

your claims to link with the Japanese seems very intriguing and very excotic................but one can never tell.......................Our Zoroastrian name for God is Ahura (Lord) Mazda( Wisdom) and the Japanese car Mazda seem uncannily close, but I dont really know, maybe stretching this a bit too far.

But I am most impressed with your statement that many Indus names are Hungarian...................and Huns did invade western India so I should not be surprised.

Nice to look at world history from an Hungarian perspective!!!

syzygy, you are a very proud Hungarian!!!
