"Zodiacal light ISS

Location: Zselic Landscape Protection Area (Duna-Dráva National Park), Hungary
ISS 'crosses' zodiacal light. The picture was taken on March 31, 18:40 UT, by a Canon EOS 350D camera with 18mm focal length, f/3.5 and ISO 400 settings. The exposure time is 4 minutes. The location where he picture was taken is inside the planned "Zselic Starry Sky Preserve", which could be the first dark sky park in Europe. This spot is especially good for watching the zodiacal light on spring nights, since there is only a very minimal light pollution in the western direction. It was just an 'accident' that the International Space Station was crossed the field of the camera and so the cone of the zodiacal light. It was the right timing, since the sky still had some bluish color, but the luminance of the sky was low enough to take a long exposure photograph. The zodiacal light was clearly visible by naked-eye for more than an our after the picture had been taken."
