Your image must have one of the following extensions: jpg png gif bmp tif tiff swf. You must use an image hosting service like

ImageShack (unless you have your own web site or blog page). But it must exist on the internet to be visible to others.

There are a number of ways to add an image to your post and/or placemark. For the oldest method, which I like and use, try this:

To put an image in your post: click on "Image" in the instant UBB code under the message box and paste the web address of your picture

into the box, which gives you this:

Code:
[image]http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/1107/busyhbfeederwcostasredurm2.jpg[/image]

It will look like this:

To include the photo in your placemark, use html code:

<img src="http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/1107/busyhbfeederwcostasredurm2.jpg">

You can make a link which others must click to see the picture:
http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/1107/busyhbfeederwcostasredurm2.jpg

You can also use a service like Panoramio or Picassa and geocode your photos. Use "save as" and add them to your hard drive; then select

them as you create your post.

You can also use Add > Image overlay... from the Google Earth menu bar. Once again use "Save as..." and save them to your hard drive. If

you use "Share/Post" your post will have code in it which you will then need to clean up by editing your post.

So construct your placemark(s) using the html form to include images. When they look like you want them to save them to your hard drive

in your GE placemarks folder.

Then create a post by going to the forum you want to place your post in. Add pictures to your post body by using the url(s) from the

image service. Then add your already finished placemark(s) from your GE placemarks folder to your post with the "browse" button.
