At first, what you said made since. They look like Dormer Sheep, unless there is another breed that is closer. Most of the sheep aren't native to Africa. Aoudad or Babary Sheep are the only wild sheep in Africa, but look nothing like these. There is also rare Dorper Sheep, but they have black heads.
