Just check to see if you have a placemark KMZ that you may have downloaded to your " My Places Panel" activated and if so, un-check the box so your viewer doesn't go to it. If you have any placemarks activated for view in the earth viewer, they will be effective after you switch to Sky, so best to turn them all off to utilize the Sky features to their fullest.
