Artimis Tourist Reged: 10/19/05 Posts: 4 Loc: Hong Kong Incorrect land marks for Hong Kong       10/19/05 02:34 AM Edit   Reply   Quote   Quick Reply   I was surprised Google Earth used Pinyin for the location names in Hong Kong, these names were never existed in the history, nobody in Hong Kong could tell you where are they if you write them on papers, even postmen themselves... Wonder where Google Earth team got these names from.... "Xianggangdao" should be "Hong Kong Island" "Jiulong" should be "Kowloon" "Shatian" should be "Shatin" "Tsing Shui Wan" should be "Clear Water Bay" "Zhunmen" should be "Tuen Mun" "Yuanlong" should be "Yuen Long" "Shiongshui" should be "Sheung Shui" "Daipo" should be "Tai Po" "Xigong" should be "Sai Kung" "Quanwan" should be "Tsuen Wan" ...... and much more....... (headache) will add to the list if I found more Post Extras
