I not quite sure what you are saying, as each line drawn only uses two coordinates one for the start and one for end. I do however want to introduce a few more intermediate points to account for the cuverature, but as mentioned above is small so is low priority.
Perhaps you are meaning the recently enabled <tesselate> option which makes the lines 'hug' the terrain, which if in a hilly area will appear as a very bitty line. (by the way if anybody doesnt like this new behavoir I can have it optional, in fact I havent actully seen it in action as GE is on another machine)
The other option is why the ends of lines don't exactly line up with the 'end' line in the other direction. This is the same thing that each grid line shouldnt be exactly strieght like it is now, but have a slight curve. This curve can be seen in these end of lines and also the slight curve that the labels have in relation to the lines. (technical bit : the ends and labels are all steight when projected on osgb36 datum as eastings/northings, but deform slightly when reprojected to wgs84 for use in GE)
