I have been using Google Earth for a few weeks, as a GIS tool to enable the distribution of geologic landforms I find particualrrly interesting. As a newcomer, I want to be respectful of the etiquette here.
The topic "Impact Database" is most relevant to my subject matter, but with a nuance. I have been identifying and documenting a new class of impact craters and resulting ejecta. As an introduction, I am attaching a KMZ file that shows the geomorphology of the Danish City of Copenhagen was assembled from accreted ejecta emplacements.
The KML file is available initially from our web site via <ftp://perigeezero.org/ge/kmz/Copenhagen.kmz> I have no problem integrating that fle with the general pool of KMZ, but I need some guidance from the communitty as to whether that is considered appropriate.
A toutorial walk-though of this KMZ data is available at <http://perigeezero.org/pz/Proof_sets/Proof_Sets/Denmark/index.html>
