I thought I'd share what I created this afternoon... had a look around the forums, and don't think anyone else has done this.. The Bureau of Meterology in Australia publishes Radar images, that show current rainfall, around all major capital cities in Australia. They also do a neato 4-frame animated gif, but unfortunatly, Google Earth doesn't display animated gifs as overlays (well, it does, but only 1 frame) You can go to the page I linked to, to see the animation. I've spent a few hours doing this, and I've gotten each overlay lined up nearly perfectly! the IR Satellite image is a bit distorted, however. Enjoy!
