Also, there appears to be civilization about 15 miles down the road, 3 mi. north of the road, with what appears to be two 1-mile air strips [Desert Center Airport] oh, and 31 miles west is Thermal Airport 20.81 miles SW is Desert Air Sky Ranch Chiriaco Summit Airport is 5.4 miles west Eagle Mountain Pump Plant has both an air strip and a school [12 miles east for airstrip, school is 3.3 miles north of that] That whole region [from your pump station east to Palo Verde is in the Desert Center Unified School District] Photos are only a google search away: http://www.pbase.com/wendyo/desert_center Post Extras
