By Placemarks, I am assuming those are the every 5km points?? You don't have coordinates from the Live feeds around that could be used as placemarks do you?? What I am thinking (And I know this would be tedious work) But if I had frequent placemarks, I *could* just mouse over the placemark, record the lat/long and altitude that way.. as I said very long, but well worth it in the end! I tried doing this on one stage and just following the path with the mouse and recording data... the only problem for me doing it this way is sometimes I got lost on the route to the next 5KM marker.. maybe I was looking at something wrong... Anyways, full credit goes to you for this outstanding work!! Thanks, and if you have any ideas for me on easier retrieval of the data, please let me know... Chris Post Extras
