simon_a Master Guide Reged: 08/21/05 Posts: 1773 Loc: London, UK Re: UK Level 1 labels and areas       08/12/06 03:40 AM Edit   Reply   Quote   Quick Reply   Hello, I'm being pedantic again but the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guensey are not actually part of the UK, rather they are 'Crown dependencies'. (They are not sovereign nations and rely on the UK for Foreign and Defence matters but they have their own governments; they are also not part of the EU, although there is a relationship.) Having said that, I think they're are normally included in maps of the UK/GB/British Isles; it's just a terminology thing.
