Your example of the flight path clearly shows the problem. What we need is some set of <LookAt> values for points along the path as well as the current co-ordinates on the path and KML control over the speed. There's also a difference between looking at a path (from above) and flying along it. If the camera is to fly along the path so that it loks like you're in the cockpit of the place, you're going to need to be looking up into space at take-off, and at the moment you can only tilt to parallel with the earth's surface.
