I have to say thanks. This is outstanding. Finally something that I have gotten to automatically convert data. Thanks for all the hard work.

I will continually update this with some things that I notice.

Good
1. It didn't cost me anything.

2. Within two minutes of reading your post, I had created my first automated 3d mesh. Very easy to understand.
3. It works well.
4. The program shows you what sections could not be made into meshes.

Bad
1. There needs to be a "reset to defaults" as a drop down. Right now I just have to close the program and reopen it.
2. The sliders are the only thing that affects the preview. When I type something into the value fields, it doesn't change the preview. I have tried clicking on another field, but it still doesn't change the preview.
3. The sliders are too sensetive for me. Is there a way to slow them down?
4. When I click to the left or right of the slider, the bar moves but the value doesn't change. The preview doesn't change either.
5. There are an extremely large ammount of polygons created. Is there a way to combine some into folders or as <MultiGeometry> (Preferably a check box because sometimes it is good to not combine them)? I noticed that many of them are named the same.
6. 3ds files that have their start point at anything other than the center of their object are very difficult to position accurately. Right now it can be done with trial and error. It would be nice if there were a feature to see where the origin of the object was.

Edit: I added a KML file that demonstrates the merging of polygons into <MultiGeometry>. I only did the first three to show the difference.
