I've run into a problem where Google Earth (v4.0.2694 beta) and QuickTime (v7.1.3)running at the same time will completely take my Intel Mac down. Here's what I do to reproduce it: 1. Start up Safari. Go to a website that features a QuickTime movie (http://www.apple.com/trailers, for example.) 2. Pick a trailer and start watching it. 3. While the trailer is running, start up Google Earth. 4. Watch and wait while first Google Earth freezes after login, then the entire system freezes completely. Once the system locks up, the only way to fix it is a reboot. When watching movies from within QT, this does not happen. It also does not happen on my PowerBook. Google and QT versions are the same. Both systems are running 10.4.8 and have all software patches installed. Any ideas? Post Extras
