QT version is 7.1.3 GE version is 4.0.2694 built 15 Dec 2006. GE is using the OpenGL renderer. The lockup/freeze occurs under the following circumstances: - while any QuickTime movie is playing in a Safari window, AND after GE logs on successfully and begins zooming the earth in. - if you play a QT movie in a Safari window after you have loaded GE, and then switch back to GE and move the map around using the cursor. It does not seem to lock up if you run a QT movie from within QT. Nor does it lock up if a QT movie loaded in a Safari window is not playing. There must be some race condition with how Safari handles QT movies and GE. But that is just a wild guess at this point. Post Extras
