Google Earth Community: Using Magellan GPS with GE+

I have an Explorist 210 and have not been able to download waypoints after having follwed the suggestions in the posts that relate to the 500 series of GPS using Advanced GPSBabel.

HOWEVER I have been able to download waypoints in a round about fashion using QuickGPSBabel.

Wth the GPS plugged in and running in file transfer mode it will appear in Finder as "Untitled" mass storage device.

* Download a file from Geocaching.com to the Desktop and it will show with a .loc extension.
* Choose QuickGPSBabel
* Under Operating Mode choose Waypoints
* Under Input Options choose "Use file "the select your .loc file from the Desktop ".Input file" choose "Geocaching.com.loc " from the list
* Under Output Options choose" Use file" choose "Magellan SD files(as for Explorist)" and store it back to the Desktop. It will now appear with the name you have assigned with a .upt extension.
* Drop the .upt file from your desktop to "untitled" mass storage device in Finder
* Click on the "Untitled" and drop it on MyPOI s and your file will be there.
*You will find that the file has been transferred to your GPS.

I have had no luck trying to transfer directly to the GPS. If anyone knows How please let me know.
