Unfortunately, none of the tips have yielded any change in behavior. After uninstalling, I've completely removed any files related to GE, then done a clean install without success. I am running the X2 Optimizer, and I've tried setting a processor affinity for each of the cores with no improvement. I've manually deleted the cache...can't use the menu option as it doesn't get past the splash screen when starting up. I've trashed My Places as well. Also, FWIW, I tried emailing support, with no response. I understood Plus subscribers were supposed to be entitled to email support. Sigh. I'm a software developer myself, so it is pretty frustrating that GE is writing a crash dump file, and I can't find anyone who knows how to read it.
