Igual fue publicado el hecho de colocar una placa marcando el lugar que Don Chuy Benites (sic) apuntó donde cayó y fue sepultado. Hubo algunos que me escribieron preguntándome el porqué un sacerdote erigiría una lápida para conmemorar a un agnóstico que se burlaba sarcásticamente de los creyentes y de la iglesia. Les repliqué a los extrañados que la placa era para elucidar el enigmático fin de un gran escritor, sea quien sea. Además, no agarrar rencores hace auténtico nuestro seguimiento de Cristo.
