Science has pretty well concluded that the earth HAS warmed in the recent past![/i} That seems to be known - a given - and is not questionable! It has happened! The big unknown is -- what will happen next? Will the temperatures contiue to increase? Will the earth's temperatures steady down and approach a steady state for some unknown length of time? Will they decrease? These questions reflect the importance of knowing the CAUSE of the temperature increase. If we KNEW the cause, we might be able to PREDICT what will happen next. Goodness gracious, we might even be able to affect the future if we knew the cause!!! Without knowing the cause, we have no way to predict what will happen to the earth's temperature! (smile)So, would everybody just calm down and stop this bickering about the cause? We don't know the cause but we will find out soon enough what earth's temperature is going to do!!!!
