Science Fiction Layer / 3D Models

As well as the Science and exploration it would be nice to have a layer marking all the real places in the Sky that have turned up in Science Fiction.

Also I wonder if models could be bought up over parts of the image we're looking at ... just like in Google Earth. I think there have been some 3D models made of Nebulae, for example.
