Please Note- The Images used are up to 3 years old.
The latest images for Nevada are from April 2007. Turn on Layers > Digital Globe Coverage ( at the bottom of the list of layers) Zoom in and a date will become visible .
This date will indicate when each area was photographed + how much cloud cover was present. Each Image is a composite of the collective data available for that particular area.
A very noble cause your engaged in --but not much use trying to locate Mr Fossets plane.
Possible uses include :-- Looking for possible crash sights or enforced landing area's
As each day passes his family and friends must fear the worst. Lets hope he is found safe & well soon.
