Just hope someone rules it out, It seems to be undamaged and if so, if it was set down gently then the ELT would not go off, which his has not. he could have had a heart attack and tried to set it down before crashing, also as a private pilot I can tell you that we have a priority of operations when doing an emergency landing, and sending out a mayday call is only done if time permits, first is to ready for landing safely.
