Adjacent to the BYU-Idaho Campus is the Rexburg Idaho Temple. It was dedicated on February 10, 2008 by President Thomas S. Monson. Temples are an integral part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as families can be sealed for eternity within their walls.
