The old version which i have on my PC was 3.0.0336 (beta),soon i downloaded a new version Google.Earth.PRO.v3.0.0395 and i want to try it,but there are problems in installation:
First the problems was omething like that: http://earth.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=21955&topic=1138 ,

when i do this come the second problem: one bos appear in front and there writes: "The operating system is not supported by Google Earth The installer will now close.". And that's it.

The first caption with 'the error' and the second with 'not supported system' appear exactly in the same time when Installshield load and fill bar in the beginning.Later I rename back my InstallShield directory how it was (and delete the new one, which have been created in installation process) and first problem doesn't embarrass me,now when want to install Pro version the second problem ' with not supported system' always appears!

My OS name: MS WindowsXP Pro 5.1.2600 SP2 uild 2600, i don't thing that the system is problem, ideas?

may i shoud preinstall the WIndows, but this is not the answer, which will satisfy me!

bobip,

Where did you download .0395 from? Our recent public installer was .0529 and last night I pushed .0548, so .0395 hasn't been available for over a month.

This morning I downloaded the Free version from BetaNews. I remembered how much I enjoyed Keyhole when it first came out. I upgraded to the Pro version back then but let the subscribtion lapse.

I decided to purchase the Pro version this morning, got my License Key, etc. I tried to "Unlock" the Pro version that I downloaded from this site. I had "Removed" the Free version from my hard drive while waiting for my activation email. All I've gotten all day was "One or more of the Username, Password, or License Key you entered is not valid. Do you want to retry?"

The other message I get is: "The Username, Password, or License Key you have entered (belongs) to another email address",

Ideas. Since I haven't used the software, can I cancel? I'm not real happy with paying for software that doesn't work. Ot reminds me of my LAST Symantec puchase. No more Norton ANYTHING for me.

Again. Any help would be appreciated.

Google Earth is free, Google Earth Pro starts at $400 per year.

Still with me?

If you are still interested, see the comparisons HERE.
