Marvelous post, Dorseyland! Thanks from an art history buff who's forgotten most of what she learned! I do know I have never seen the painting in your post. It's fascinating to see so many big names in the art world in one painting. Diego Rivera's face is quite oddly rendered and obscure - I wonder if this has some psychological meaning regarding the artist's relationship with Rivera!
