The network links are now available!

The attached KML file has exactly the same functionality as the placemarks in the fisrt post, except that it gets it's data dynamically from a local copy of Volcano World's lists. This local copy is automatically updated once a day, though it seems that the Volcano World lists are only updated weekly .

This is experimental code: If Volcano World changes their layout or I'll mess up something in the scripts, the network links are most likely to stop working! So please bear with me.

There are four versions of the network links available:

• Current eruptions: This is the same as the attached file.
  
• Historic eruptions
  
• Global Volcanism Program's Weekly report. By the Smithsonian Institute and USGS.
  
• All of the above, with only the current eruptions checked.
  
• A 'meta' network link containing network links to the three reports.
  

Again, this is still under development. So sometimes the links may not work. I'm trying my best to keep downtimes short .

The network links are generously hosted by Sourceforge.

Edit: My serious apologies: I posted the wrong links to a server that is quite limited! So I had to change them. All of you who bookmarked those links above, will have to re-download them. Again, I'm very sorry!
