Secret Intelligence Service HQ, Vauxhall Cross, London



This distinctive building is the headquarters of Britain's secret (!) service - MI6 . It was designed by architect Terry Farrell and built in 1994.

It features prominently in recent James Bond movies. In particular the opening sequence of 'The World Is Not Enough' - where 007, in a chase sequence, bursts through the river frontage of the building in a speedboat.
