Hi All,

I've been fooling around with getting many of our atmospheric & surface satellite products (from the AVHRR) into GE. The overlays are global and include many properties important in the earth sciences (like sea surface temperature, cloud types & height, aerosol loadings, dust storms, vegetation indicies, etc...). All these products are at 0.5 degree resolution, but if there's interest, I could get it into ~8km in a few weeks. We are also working on getting 1km regoinal AVHRR data and products into GE. Global imagery is updated daily, after processing the raw AVHRR data. More information and links to these satellite processing projects can be found here:

Finally, please let me know if you have any suggestions (email address can be found through the above link). And I would love to animate this. It would be great to create global animations of the last 10 days for all these images. If you have any advise on how to do this, please let me know!
