thanks for raising attention there are two Simian but one with different s letter.
now we know the one with the tailed "s" is in Bihor county and called Érsemjén in hungarian language.
the meaning is from the old, hungarian 'Semjén' male name. 'ér' signs 'creek' in it i think.

when i searched 'simian' in GE it leaded me to the Simian with the simple 'S' in Mehedinti county.
i would have better searched for 'Érsemjén' which would leaded me to another one of mine*...
shame i did not remembered for the settlement.
