I don't know....Hmmm.....
It's Got two ends.....so there are two entrances that would require demoliton.
A B1 would be able to destroy the exits, however, Mountains prevent most aircraft from flying too low at high speeds
The Mountains also provide excellent cover for SAM sites and AA Guns.
The Vast amount of wooded land on the mountains means that a SAM missile attack could come from just about anywhere
The Shape of the mountains relative to the Runway suggests that the flight path would have the aircraft exit the runway facing to the North.
Any Aircraft that wished to do damage to the Runway would have to fly low, this is prevented on the N side from an Immediate mountain blocking the path
To the S the mountains are farther off, allowing for an aircraft to assume a low flight path for a much longer period of time.
The Relativeley flat land to the S entrance, however, allows for more air defenses to be set up.
The use of Guided bombs or Air-to-surface missiles would be effective unless the aircraft delivering the payload is shot down
The Fact that the runway is underground provides the possibility of multiple tunnels or structures to be built beneath the surface.
Such tunnels we would have little to no knowledge of, posing a threat that is unforseen at this point in time.
