I can tell you a little about the guitar-shaped house. It was built by a country music fan in the 1970s and got a lot of press at the time for the unique design. It's not that impressive from the ground -- in fact, you can't really tell what it is from the street. It's basically a modified ranch house with a long narrow walkway or hallway leading to the garage, thus the guitar shape. It has a flat roof with the electrical wires running along the top to mimic the strings.
I don't know who lives in it now or the condition. Last time I drove by a couple of years ago it needed work. Back around 1980, there was a rumor that Burt Reynolds tried to buy it as well as a farm a couple of miles up the road. It didn't happen. But Evander Holyfield did eventually buy the farm, so to speak, and built his 60,000-square foot mansion, reportedly the largest private home in the United States
The Guitar House is on Wilkins Road off Kenwood Road, between Ga. Highways 314 and 279 just north of Fayetteville, 30214. Evander Holyfield's estate is just to the northwest of there at the intersection of Ga. Highways 279 and 138.
If you really want to know the current property owner's name, I believe you can do an electronic search of local property tax records by going to the county Web site ...
