The Stream Cleaner Environmental Forum 2009
On Water Quality and Best Management Practices
March 9th through April 10th 2009

Participants in the SCE Forum investigate non-point source pollution in the context of the Chesapeake Bay Program. High school students:
- Role play as stakeholders;
- Draft Point of View position papers that are posted to the web:
- Join in a dialogue between students in several counties across state lines; and then,
- Develop a consensus plan as a class that solves the pollution problem and respects the interests of all stakeholders.

High schools throughout the Chesapeake Bay Watershed are invited to participate. Watershed associations, conservationists, and environmentalists are invited to recruit a school and act as a mentor on the importance of science and civic engagement in seeking solutions to complex problems relevant to teenagers lives.
