This is an informal survey of the hotels & other attractions to the village of Stamford, NY.My primary inspiration was the book 'A Post Card Portrait' by Carlton & Dorothy Bloodgood. My sources were my grandmother Daisy DeSilva Rogers, who lived her life in Stamford, my father Philip Willis who mapped the hotels years ago, my aunt Anne Willis who provided the postcards and much of the historical background and my step grandfather Leo DeSilva who published tour guides in the 20s and also spent his life in the Queen of the Catskills. If there are any glaring errors, let me know and also, it ain't over. I still have many more postcards & photos to process for this project. Anything missing is probably still in the box by my computer.

Thanks. I'm going to add to it when I get a chance. There's more postcards & later photos to apply.
