The list should also include the interchange of the Garden Grove Freeway (CA-22), Orange Freeway (CA-57), and I-5. It's very easy to end up going the wrong way here.

From Wikipedia
"The 2002 edition of the Guinness World Records book cites this as the most complex road interchange in the world, stating that it is an intersection of 34 different routes."

A section of the Oakland Maze got damaged by fire early Sunday, 4/29/07. A section of east-bound I-80 to I-580 collapsed on west-bound I-80 to I-880.

A Gasoline Tanker, driving down west-bound I-80 exiting towards I-880, crashed into a pylon just under the overpass, where I-580 was, and exploded in flames. The fire melted the steel beams and joints on the overpass above it, and the onramp to I-580 collapsed, leaving 2 interstates closed. Just the driver was injured, with second-degree burns.

Check out where 101 and 85 come together at Bernal, south of San Jose, California. The reality is even more complicated than the image!

Your I-45 and US-59 interchange is wrong: North of it, I-45 becomes the Pierce Elevated, then the North Freeway north of I-10.

LardLad,

You need to correct your post where the 101 and 405 meet. You talk about the exchange being located in Irvine. It is not. Irvine is about 60 miles to the south. The 101 and the 405 meet in Van Nuys, a suburb in LA.
