A tangled web of railroads in northeast Pennsylvania as it was in the 1930's. Included are the Delaware and Hudson Gravity Railroad and the Pennsylvania Coal Company Gravity Railroad, both abandoned before 1900. Included are many historic anthracite coal breaker sites.

I've been fine tuning the placement of the paths using Penn State University's Penn Pilot web site as a reference. Some of the paths will reflect major changes. I'm also adding information from 1880's era geologic survey maps.

Hi duplex - You've marked "Central RR of NJ Scranton roundhouse" on a baseball field. Is that where it used be?

Diane

Yes, that is the historic location for the roundhouse.
