Hi,
EDIT: Excel File now attached in Zip File. Thought I should finally join this community after years of trawling Google Earth and posting about it on other forums (see Bluffer's Guide
http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?t=156900)
Hopefully now I have something worthy to contribute.
I make no claim to the attached excel macro being particularly special but it does allow you to generate circles, wedges, arrows etc as paths in GE. Can also do basic placemarks.
I've used this to generate literally thousands of circles and placemarks into GE in a single batch.

Reason I built it is for adding "range rings" around air-defence sites and also "range wedges" for artillery sites etc.
This is only an early version and isn't yet "idiot proof" so please apply common sense when setting bearings, radius' etc.
Main limitation known is distortion in radius due to curvature of earth - ie the km-to-degrees calculation is based on the latitude of the centre point so radius becomes less accurate the larger it gets. Loses about 1km per 5km of radius I think.
Feedback much appreciated.
