Many times, when I use the DayLight feature of Google Earth, I don�t like that in the night areas, you actually don�t see them as if they were at night. You don�t see the cities lights.
So I looked for some image with this feature and made an Overlay which shows the Day/Light areas, were the night areas are actually "at night". It also shows the current clouds layer. It updates every 15 minutes. It isn�t a high resolution image, so enjoy it from the "outer space"..

Very nice. And if you do zoom in you can at least see what city or region is responsible for that glob of light at night.

No s� cu�l habr� sido tu problema pero puede ser que la imagen actual que quer�as cargar tuviera alg�n defecto. No te olvides que carga distintas im�genes cada tanto. La actual, por ejemplo, tiene todo un blanco en la zona de Argentina debido a un error en los datos de las nubes.
Reci�n descargu� el archivo para probarlo y me andaba bien...

Nice one Gerardo. I've incorporated the same overlay into some KML that automatically makes the overlay disappear as you zoom in closer (based on the Blue Marble Add-On from 2 years ago).

I wish Die.Net, who made the image used, would also incorporate the current month from the NASA Blue Marble NG so you could see the Earth as it would be seen this month (snow/vegetation colors change from month to month).
