We recently made a small change to the forum that allows you to preview attached KML and KMZ files with the Google Earth Plugin, if you have it installed.

I just try the preview plugin. In Three cases , two times , the place mark is not shown in preview, it may happened because of my low internet bandwidth.

It just take after the Bing Map of MS, but every preview shows multilayer - Roads, 3D buildings etc - which is very great. I want to see and try more

THIS PLUGIN IS FASTER and HEAVIER THAN BING

Best if you link to problematic posts so we can see the issue for ourselves.

One such issue is that the view zooms instantly to the location of the KML features. If the view is low and is in a mountainous area, the terrain "pops" in after the view has been set, and thus you have to manually zoom out to see the placemarks.

I like it. But there is sometimes a problem with displaying a placemark the same as in GE.

Do yu want even stranger... if you use Terrain or Map mode, it looks correct, but in Earth mode it has the strange formatting.

I like this new feature and look forward to continued development of the Google Earth Plugin.

Great to have something back that was similar to the old BBS. Unfortunately, the angle of the view is sometimes not correct in the API. First loads sometimes zoom in ridiculously close while a second load will show a nicer, but 'flat' view. But anyway, it's still a lot better then the map view.
