NASA has admitted to airbrushing parts of the Moon before public release. I want to see what they airbrushed out. Unlike google earth they cannot claim they are trying to hide anything to protect the peoples privacy.

Are there any "moons" with good resolution I can download to view with google Moon that are Non NASA images.. perhaps from the Chinese or India space programs?

Thanks!

I want to add to this.. My jury is still out on if we landed on the moon or not. Here's one no one has answered. Under the landing module there should be a blast crater. There is no blast crater in any pictures of the landing module. How do you explain this?

Even though it may be true light can reflect in different ways on the moon if you look at the whole body of pictures of the astronauts and objects on the moon there are always many multiple sources of light making shadows in various directions. This should not be possible on the moon no matter how light reflects.

I am not saying I believe the above two, but I have not yet heard satisfactory answers to explain these things.

The good thing about places which allow freedom of thought and freedom of expression is that we get to believe whatever we choose to believe, and we get to say pretty much whatever we wish to say.

I choose to believe that 12 Astronauts walked on the surface of the Moon between 1969 and 1972. I'm old enough to actually remember the events as they occurred.

The exploration of our solar system leaves plenty of room for other explorers. So seeking non NASA images is fine, but you should believe the NASA images integrity. If I understand correctly, the Selene Mission is Japan's. So these images should be acceptable, since there in Google Moon! Selene - Wikipedia
As far as any conspiracy about the moon landings; I don't believe it. It is manifestly obvious we went to the moon! Rather, I believe there's more to the Moon and planets than we know publicly. As we continue to explore, any confusion will fade away. Here's a good link for all this silly moon conspiracy stuff. New Apollo 17 Landing Photo smile

HERE is a webpage from the Japanese Space Agency (JAXA) of imagery from their Selene spacecraft which shows the "halo" of the blast area from Apollo 15. Does this satisfy your doubts, John?
