I hate to criticise someone who has put in so much effort, but as you are publishing these things world-wide, please get the spelling right! Please correct "Srockcross" to Stockcross! (Disused Station west of Newbury). I don't know if or how I can edit it....Geoff

Looking at his posts, it appears that Jurasik has not posted for about 3 1/2 years. Since you cannot edit another's posts, what you can do is what you have done. If you think you have an update that improves on a post or adds information about it, post a response as a reply as you have done. The next person reading the thread will then see your correction.

Perhaps a more diplomatic way of saying it would be simply, "Please correct "Srockcross" to Stockcross. Thanks".

NOTE: I made the correction. Due to the number of placemarks and posts, this is usually not done, but since it was easy to verify the misspelling I went ahead and changed it.

Thanks for the explanation and correction. I am not the most diplomatic person, but I try to be exact. I would have thought such an experienced poster would check/preview his postings. Geoff.
