The images in Google Street View are sure to be updated. Does anyone agree with me that it would be great if old Street View images could be accessed using a similar slider as used currently for old satellite imagery?

I was wishing for this just yesterday while browsing Sacramento, California.

I had made some screen shots of several places there this past September and later misplaced the files. Trying to re-make those shots yesterday, I thought the SV looked much sharper than before. Just my imagination? I had nothing to compare to. Guess I'll never know.
