I happen to like the beautiful symmetry of your junction, if only more were so predictable, eh?

In terms of being "frankly a bit scary to drive around" though, these two are a little more the thing...

The first is "Spaghetti Junction" on the M6

5230'40.47"N
151'53.22"W

The second is "The Magic Roundabout" in Swindon, which I'm told flows smoothly even in heavy rush hour traffic. Until some outsider who doesn't know the junction gets confused and causes a fifteen car pile-up, of course

5133'46.09"N
146'15.64"W

Cheers & God bless

Probably the worst interchange in the world is the infamous "Four Level" in Los Angeles. It's the intersection of 4 freeways and several surface streets. It's located at 34 01' 51" N, 118 13' 18" W.

It's even more spectacular (and confusing) from the ground. http://www.dot.ca.gov/hq/paffairs/images/fourlev.jpg

The junction of I-40 and I-27 in Amarillo, TX is very similar but more compact.
